Wabash672

Wabash No. 672 was a Class J-1 4-6-2 "Pacific" type steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in May 1912.

It was one of 16 "Pacific" type locomotives purchased by the Wabash Railroad in 1912, and was one of six engines that were built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. They were delivered in May of that year and were assigned road numbers 670 through 675. No. 672 along with the rest of the class were designed to haul passenger trains along the line.

Like most of the other Wabash steam locomotives, No. 672 ran in service until the end of steam and was eventually scrapped.
