Edward VII was a 2-6-2 side tank locomotive.
History[]
Edward VII was built in 1902 by Davies & Metcalfe Limited for the Vale of Rheidol Railway (VoR). The VoR was taken over by the Great Western Railways who overhauled Edward VII and gave it some Swindon components and a new number, 1212. However the GWR built three new locomotives based on Edward VII and it's sibling Prince of Wales. So Edward VII wasn't used as much and in 1932 moved again to Swindon for storage being withdrawn officially on the 9 of March in 1935 and scrapped later that year.
