
United States Army No. 1149 is a class 1-B-1 experimental gas turbine locomotive it was built by Davenport-Besler in 1952.
It was tested at Fort Eustis, VA, it was donated to the Museum of Transportation in 1980 by its designer, R. Tom Sawyer where it is today placed on static display.
