Union Pacific No. 6915 is a DDA40X type diesel locomotive built by Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD) in October 1969 for the Union Pacific Railroad (UP). It is one of 47 of these diesels built exclusively for the UP between 1969 and 1971. It was used in regular freight service with the UP until it was officially retired from service in the late 1970s. After its retirement, it sat in storage until eventually being donated to the RailGiants Train Museum at the L.A. County Fairplex in Pomona, CA.
As of today, it remains on static display at the RailGiants Train Museum and is one of thirteen of the DDA40X type diesels that have been preserved, one of which includes No. 6936, which was previously used in both excursion service and occasional freight service with the UP's heritage fleet and is currently located at the Railroading Heritage of Midwest America (RRHMA) in Silvis, IL.
