The Hercules was a 2-6-0 "Mogul" type that worked for the Central Pacific railroad.
History[]
Built by the Danforth Cooke & Co. in 1865 it began life as a 2-6-0 steam engine and the name "Hercules" disappeared while it was under a rebuilt at the CP's Schenectady Locomotive Works into a 4-4-0 steamer.
