Texas and Pacific No. 600 was an I-1 class 2-10-4 "Texas" type steam locomotive built in 1925 by the Lima Locomotive Works for the Texas and Pacific Railway.
The locomotive was designed to haul both passenger trains, and freight trains on the T&P.
It worked on the Texas & Pacific railroad for many years until being replaced by diesel locomotives where it was then retired in 1951 and later sold for scrap.
