Southern Railway No. 1509 is a Class A 0-4-0T type steam locomotive built in 1880 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. This engine was originally numbered 27 and named "Talullah", but was affectionately nicknamed "Maud".

Details of 1509's service life are unfortunately non-existent, but it can be inferred that it was built as either an 0-4-0 tender engine or an 0-4-4 tank. Today it is preserved, but stored and dismembered, and awaiting a restoration at the South Eastern Railroad Museum, in Duluth, Georgia.
