Southern Pacific No. 771 is a MK-5 Class Mikado type (2-8-2) steam locomotive. It is one of twenty-five members of the class that were built for the Texas & New Orleans Railroad by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia, PA, in 1913.

It worked until retired, and was donated to the City of Victoria, TX, in 1955.

The City of Victoria sold the locomotive to the Grapevine Vintage Railroad in 2001 for $10.00 and it is now seen on display near downtown Grapevine on W Dallas Rd.

in late 2023, the locomotive was seen bearing fresh primer, and in May 2024, The locomotive was fully repainted in a one-off unique paint job heavily inspired by Grapevine Vintage Railroad's livery utilizing their colors. The new livery still includes its original 771 running number.
