Southern Pacific No. 5266 was a Baldwin AS-616 diesel locomotive that was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1952.

Southern Pacific No. 5266 was constructed in 1952 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and it was delivered to the Southern Pacific Railroad the same year in 1952. Upon being delivered to the Southern Pacific Railroad, it was originally classified as a DF-112, but in 1965, the locomotive was reclassified by Southern Pacific as a BS616-5.
Southern Pacific No. 5266 was retired from service in 1969 and it was scrapped that same year in 1969.
