Southern Pacific No. 4404 was a Southern Pacific Class GS-1 steam locomotive that was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Southern Pacific Railroad in June of 1930.

Southern Pacific No. 4404 was manufactured in June of 1930 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and it arrived on the Southern Pacific Railroad on August 27th, 1930.
The locomotive was sold to Texas and New Orleans and renumbered by T&NO as #710 in 1943. In February of 1957, No. 4404 was retired from active service on the Southern Pacific Railroad and scrapped.
