
Sierra Railway No. 30 is a 2-6-2 steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in May 1922 for the Sierra Railway.
The locomotive is built for both passenger and freight service on the Sierra Railway until 1937 when it was Sold to Howard Terminal and renumbered the engine as #6, in Oakland, CA.

In 1969 it was Moved to the Castro Point Railway in Richmond, CA.
It was later Moved to the Niles Canyon Railway in Sunol, CA in 1989.
Today the locomotive is still at the Niles Canyon Railway Museum but it is now under restoration to operating condition.
