History[]
No.2140 was built in 1871 by Sharp, Stewart and company originally for the Jersey Railway on Jersey Island in the Channel Islands of the United Kingdom. The order was cancelled and No.2140 was reshipped in May 1872 to the Tunis/Tunisia Railways in Africa. It's unknown what happened to the locomotive after this apart from it being scrapped later.
