ATSF No. 3460 was a Class 3460 4-6-4 "Hudson" type steam locomotive. It was built in 1937 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway.
It was built for high speed passenger service, and usually ran between La Junta, Colorado and Chicago, Illinois, on the AT&SF Railway's main line for much of its career.
Unlike the rest of the Class 3460s, this locomotive was built streamlined; painted light, robin's egg blue and silver. It became known as the "Blue Goose". It was the Santa Fe's only streamlined steam locomotive, featuring extensively in railroad publicity and was a railfan favorite.
The locomotive continued to work on the Santa Fe Railroad, hauling passenger trains for a couple of more years until 1956 when the locomotive was retired from service and it was later sold for scrap.
