Santa Fe (AT&SF) No. 1050 is a 2-6-2 "Prairie" type steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1902 for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad.
For over 50 years, she was used primarily in passenger service on the AT&SF, retired from service in 1955.
Thankfully, however, she was soon donated to the City of Independence, KS and can now be seen on public display in Riverside Park.
