SR USA Class No. 30063 was designed by Col. Howard G. Hill. and was constructed in 1942 by Vulcan Iron Works and was delivered to the Southern Railway that same year, it served in revenue service until it was involved in a collision and had suffered very bad damage, that it was withdrawn from active service in May 1962, and it was scrapped after it was involved in a collision.
