No. 159 "Skjalf" was a G class 0-6-0 steam locomotive that was built for Statens Järnvägar by Beyer, Peacock and company in 1874. Skjalf and its siblings were used on goods trains to replace the weaker F class. In 1895 Skjalf along with two of its siblings (one of them were No. 88 "Tyr") hauled a iron ore train from Luleå to Gällivare.
