Reading No. 269 on August 10, 1940.

Reading No. 269 was a class D-5f 4-4-0 "American Standard" camelback - or "Mother Hubbard" - type steam locomotive that was built in 1901 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad, later re-organized as the Reading Company.

It was used for passenger service on the Reading for much of its career.

In 1946 the locomotive was retired from active service and was scrapped shortly after.
