Pentewan Railway 'Canopus' was an 0-6-2 saddle tank locomotive.

History[]

Canopus was built as works number 1547 of Manning Wardle in 1901 to replace Trewithan on the 2 ft 6 in gauge Pentewan Railway in the county of Cornwall, UK. It was sold around 1918 when the railway closed to the Royal Air Force (Air Service Constructional Corps) as their No.7. It was scrapped presumably before the great depression.
