The Pennsylvania Railroad Class GEW275 was a class of six self-propelled, gas-electric railcar that were built by Pullman Company and the Electro-Motive Corporation (EMC) (later Electro-Motive Division (EMD)) for the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1928.

History[]

A total of six examples of what had became the Pennsylvania Railroad Class GEW275 were ever constructed by the Pullman Company and the Electro-Motive Corporation (EMC) (later Electro-Motive Division (EMD)) in 1928, and all six examples were delivered to the Pennsylvania Railroad.

The class of six self-propelled, gas-electric railcars were withdrawn from service and not a single one of the six GEW275 railcars were preserved, they were all scrapped, thus rendering them extinct.
