The PKP Class SR61 is a class of two diesel multiple unit railcars that were built by Zakłady Naprawcze Taboru Kolejowego at Poznań for the Polish State Railways (PKP) between 1976 and 1985.

History

The first example of the PKP Class SR61 was constructed in 1976 by Zakłady Naprawcze Taboru Kolejowego at Poznań and the second one had rolled out of the works in 1985 and they both had entered service in after they were constructed in 1976 and 1985.

Both examples of the class (SR61-001 and SR61-002) were withdrawn from service in 1996, and the last example of the class was withdrawn from service and SR61-001 was preserved, as for SR61-002, its fate and whereabouts are currently unknown.
