Nacionales de Mexico No. 650 is a class E-1 2-6-0 "Mogul" type steam locomotive that was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1889 for The Ferrocarriles Nacionales de Mexico - or Mexican National Railways.

The engine was used for both passenger and freight service on the Nacionales de Mexico railway.

It was also originally bought for the Veracruz-Cordoba al Itsmo Railroad with the number #3, Was bought by Nacionales de Mexico in 1934

It is now currently on display at the National Railway Museum in Puebla, Mexico.

  • It was featured in films such as The Wild Bunch (1969), Rio Lobo (1970), Big Jake (1971), The Train Robbers (1973) Cahill U.S. Marshal (1973), and The Legend of Zorro (2005), It even appeared in "Dinosaur Train" as part of the Dinosaur Discoveries.
  • When it was featured "The Legend of Zorro", it was remodeled to look like a locomotive from the 1880's and the 1890's, despite the movie being set in 1850.
  • It was property of the actor John Wayne in the early 1970's, before being rescued by CAFAC.
  • This engine was originally the one who was going to appear in Back To The Future 3, but problems with the filming crew it was replaced by the Sierra Railroad #3.
