History[]

The XXVIII class are a class of one side tank 2-6-2 locomotive. It designed specially for the Urskog–Høland line where it operated for it's entire career until the line was closed in 1961.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]^[6]

Preservation[]

There was only ever one member of the class which was No.4 named Setskogen. It was preserved and operated on the line until the mid 2010s. It is currently on display.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]^[6]
