No.25 is a 0-4-0 saddle tank steam locomotive.



History[]

No.25 was built in 1875 by Manning Wardle and company for the Norwegian Main Railway as part of their D/H class. The Norwegian State Railways took over this railway and the class was renamed 7 of which No.25 like all others in the class were 7a class. In 1955 it was withdrawn and placed on display in Oslo Central Station when it was finally constructed. It's ownership moved to the Norwegian State Railways Museum in Hamar where it eventually moved to and is currently displayed.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
