Mt Lyell Krauss No. 6 was the first Krauss to arrive at Mt Lyell.

History[]

It started it's life as a North Mt Lyell locomotive as builders number 4086 of 1899. It then was transferred to Mt Lyell it's main competitor then it might have either scrapped or sold in the 1940's/50's. Or could also have been used as spare parts for Krauss 4087 Mt Lyell Krauss No.7.
