Mt Lyell Railway Baldwin No.4

Mt. Lyell Railway Baldwin No.4 was a Baldwin locomotive on the Mt. Lyell Railway.

History[]

Mt Lyell Railway No.4 was built in 1897 and worked on mineral traffic until the 1950's when it was sold to a limestone quarry it was later joined by Abt No.4 in 1964 as a stationary boiler just like Baldwin No.4. It's components where dumped in to the quarry pits after the limestone quarry's closer which is know underwater.

It is the only Mt. Lyell Baldwin to semi survive.
It is also known as Baldwin No.4
