Mt. Lyell Railway No.3 was a Baldwin locomotive that worked on the said railway.


History[]

Baldwin Mt. Lyell No.3 also known as Baldwin No.3 was built likely on 1897 but this could be earlier. The engine mainly worked on mineral traffic until passenger trains were introduced. It is be-leaved that it might have been renumbered 6 after Abt No.3 arrived. It is believed that is was scrapped in the 1940s.
