Missouri-Kansas-Texas No. 311 is a 4-4-0 "American" type steam locomotive built for the Missouri-Kansas-Texas in 1890 by Burnham, Parry, Williams & Co., an early incarnation of the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia, PA. It was used for both passenger and freight service on the MKT.
Whilst its sisters stayed in service until the end of steam on the Katy in 1954, the railroad donated it two years earlier to the National Museum of Transportation in St Louis, Missouri, where she remains on static display today.
