The Milwaukee Road No. 8624 was a class L3 2-8-2 Mikado type steam locomotive built in 1918 by Alco for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad, or the Milwaukee Road. It was one of 100 USRA Heavy Mikado locomotives on the line.
The renumbering scheme of 1939 saw the locomotive being renumbered as 331. No records exist of the locomotive's later life, other than that it has been retired in 1953 and later scrapped. The first of the L3's were withdrawn in 1938, and all were scrapped by 1956.
