Milwaukee Road No. 518 is an EMD SD7 diesel locomotive that was built by the Electro-Motive Division (EMD) for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway (better known as the Milwaukee Road) in October 1953.

Milwaukee Road No. 518 was manufactured in October 1953 and was delivered to the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway (better known as the Milwaukee Road) in 1953.
Upon being delivered to the Milwaukee Road, it was first numbered as 2218, but later on in its career, it was renumbered to 518. No. 518 had remained in service on the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway (better known as the Milwaukee Road) until it would be retired from service and was donated to the Dakota Southern Railway after being retired from service on the Milwaukee Road and its current whereabouts are unknown.
