Milwaukee Road No. 1613 was an EMD SW1 that was built by the Electro-Motive Division (EMD) for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway (better known as the Milwaukee Road) in March 1940.
Upon being delivered to the Milwaukee Road, it was numbered as 1613, but later on in its career it was renumbered to 867. It remained in service on the railroad until it was retired and donated to the Indiana Transportation Museum in Noblesville, Indiana and was restored cosmetically and mechanically back into its original form of No. 1613.
Unfortunately, the city evicted the museum from its location in 2017 and converted part of the right-of-way into a trail. In preparation to move to their new location, some of the museums collection was subsequently auctioned off to pay for the expenses.
No. 1613 was one of the pieces that was sold off and its new owners had it scrapped on July 4, 2018.
