The Milwaukee Road Class ES-1 was the sole example of a single electric switcher locomotive built in 1915 by General Electric for the Chicago, Milwaukee St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (or better known as the "Milwaukee Road"). It was designed and built to run on the unique 1,500 V DC electrification in the yard at Great Falls, Montana. It was originally numbered as 10000 and was numbered to E85 in March 1939. It was retired in November 1939 and scrapped after its retirement.
