The Milwaukee Road Class 6-AS was a class of two ALCO HH660 diesel locomotives built by the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway (better known as the Milwaukee Road) in 1940.
History[]
In all, only two locomotives were ever constructed in 1940 by the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) and they were all delivered to the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway (better known as the Milwaukee Road) that same year in 1940.
Both locomotives served well on the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway (better known as the Milwaukee Road) until both were retired in 1961 and their current whereabouts are unknown.
