The Louisville and Nashville No. 549 is an F-8 class 2-6-0 type steam locomotive that used to work on the Louisville and Nashville railroad.

Built by Alco in 1906 it used to work as a switcher on the L&N for much of its career.
It operated until the F&N (or more likely, the L&N) sold the 549 for scrap in November 1949, when it was retired from service.
