No. 1984 was a class M-1 2-8-4 "Big Emma" steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Louisville and Nashville railroad.
No. 1984 and the rest of its siblings were all removed from active service and was scrapped. All that remains of the locomotive is it's tender which can be found on display at the Kentucky Railway Museum.
