The LU 2009 Stock are deep-level undergound trains operated by London Underground on the Victoria Line, built to replace the older and less reliable LU 1969 Stock. The trains have a wider loading gauge then other deep-level services on the network, taking advantage of the Victoria Line's wide tunnels.
Trivia[]
- The train's design is based on that of the LU 1992 Stock, and it is visually simmilar to the sub-surface "S" Stock used on the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines, which is also a part of the "Movia" family of trains produced by Bombardier.
