Delaware & Lackawanna No. 1501 is a class Q1 4-8-4 "Northern" type steam locomotive it was built by Alco in 1927 for the Delaware Lackawanna & Western Railroad.
It spent most of it's life working on the Delaware & Lackawanna & Western Railroad to increase its motive power for the "Lackawanna Limited" and other passenger trains.
Soon afterwards it was sold for scrap when it was retired.
