History[]
Normandy was built in 1893 by Nine Elms Works of the London South Western Railway (LSWR) and worked at Southampton Docks through Southern Railway ownership to British Railways. In September 1963 Normandy was withdrawn from service and sold to Corrall Fuel Merchants and renamed Corrall Queen also in Southampton. In 1972 Normandy was sold to the Bulleid Society and worked on the Bluebell Railway as a shunter until 2006 when it's boiler certificate expired. Normandy is currently on static display pending a full overhaul.
