67763 was a L1 2-6-4 steam locomotive built for British Railways by North British Locomotive Company in 1949. 67763 was meant to be used on passenger trains but like other L1s its wheels weren't meant to be handle this type of speed and caused it to wore them out quicker. In 1960 the engine appeared in A Railwayman’s Film while it and its cab was in it. On the 30th November, 1962 it was finally withdrawn, but it wasn’t scrapped untill the 30th June, 1962.
