The LNER Class A4 is a class of streamlined 4-6-2 "Pacific" type steam locomotive designed by Sir Nigel Gresley for the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) at their Doncaster Works between 1935 and 1938.
There's only six of these locomotives that have been preserved today, those being LNER 4464 "Bittern", LNER 4468 "Mallard", LNER 4489 "Dominion of Canada", BR 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley", BR 60008 "Dwight D. Eisenhower", and BR 60009 "Union of South Africa".
