The JNR KI-100 were a series of Russell Snowploughs that operates on the Japanese National Railways (JNR).
History[]
Introduced in December 1956, most of these types of snowploughs were withdrawn before the division and privatisation of the JNR in 1987, though two (Ki-176 and Ki-276) were inherited by JR Hokkaido.
While both of JR Hokkaido's examples were scrapped, fourteen other Ki-100s have survived into preservation.
