The JGR Class 90 (formerly the Nambu Railway Class 3) was a 2-4-0T Porter-type side tank superheated steam locomotive operated by the Japanese Government Railways from 1922 to 1949.

History

The Class 90 was an early steam locomotive operated in Japan. The type was ordered by the Unsen Railway, of which one locomotive was produced by Amemiya Seisakusho. The locomotive was originally numbered 3 but was later renumbered to Class 90. The locomotive was used on the Unsen Railway, then was transferred to the Nambu Railway in 1937. The locomotive was scrapped in 1949.
