The JGR Class 8350 (originally the Sanyo Railway Class 7) was a 2-6-0 Mogul-type steam locomotive operated by the Japanese Government Railways from 1894 to 1922.

History

The Class 8350 was an early steam locomotive operated in Japan. The type was ordered by the Sanyō Railway as the Class 7, of which four locomotives were built by Baldwin Locomotive Works. These were assigned to the Sanyō Railway and given the numbers of 35 to 38. These locomotives were used mainly on the Sanyō Railway.

After the Railway Nationalization Act was passed in 1909, the locomotives were renumbered the Class 8350. 8350 was retired in March 1922 while the other three were retired in December the same year. No Class 8350s have been preserved.
