Indiana and Ohio No. 9500 is an EMD SD45R diesel locomotive that was built by the Electro-Motive Division for the Southern Pacific Railroad in August 1966.
History[]
Indiana and Ohio No. 9500 was manufactured in August 1966 and had entered service on the Southern Pacific Railroad the same year in 1966.
It was first built, as an EMD SD45 and was rebuilt as an SD45R due to the massive 20-cylinder engines causing it to have a very bad fuel mileage and coupled with the crankshaft failures, it was also numbered as 7400 by the Southern Pacific.
It would eventually be donated to the Indiana and Ohio Railway (IORY) where it was renumbered by IORY as 9500. This locomotive no longer is a part of the railroad as it was traded to LTEX in 2020, and was later marked for BUGX.
After the trade of BUGX 9500. The Steven's Railroad workshops in Ate Vitarte, after checking her engines, it was belonged to Ferrocarriles ''Cruz de Motupe'' S.A.C. (C.de.M SAC) after FCCA and SR's merger. After that. SR's 5th company, Servicios Ferroviarios ''Boyfriend'' SAC, tried to take 9500 To this fleet, Ferrocarriles ''Cruz de Motupe'' S.A.C denied it.
On Huancayo in Peru's Independency day, SR C56 ''2442'' 'Franco Vidal' with the Wiracocha Express, it halted. C.deM. 9500 by other hand, pulls the excursion to her first excursion pull. Now, Ferrocarriles ''Cruz de Motupe'' S.A.C 9500 (EX IORY, Didn't killed the SP livery, honoring it) is now in Santa Clara, Peru.
Also she darrailed 1 time.
In El Rosal de Santa Anita, jointed with Av. Ferrocarril, (BUGX) C. de M. 9500 Leaded things for the Linea 2 and Línea 4 construction operators, leaded by 2 locos:
