Not to be confused with Reading No. 2102.

Indiana and Ohio Railway No. 2102 is an EMD GP38-2 that was built by the Electro-Motive Division originally for the Chicago and North Western Railroad in December 1979.

History[]

Indiana & Ohio Railway No. 2102 was constructed in December 1979 by the Electro-Motive Division and it was delivered to the Chicago and North Western Railroad in 1980 where it was first numbered as 4624.

It would eventually be donated to the Indiana and Ohio Railway (IORY) where it was renumbered by IORY as 2102 and it still operates under the Indiana and Ohio Railway. Genesee and Wyoming's EPA emissions scandal has not affected this engine’s operation status as of September 2023.
