
The Huntsville & Lake of Bays No. 2 is an 0-4-0ST it was built by H. K. Porter as #1 in 1888, for the Canadian Pulp and Paper Co., in Hull, PQ.
It was built as a switch engine for the Canadian Pulp and Paper Co. for much of its career.
The locomotive was sold to Cameron Peck in Chicago, IL, in 1948 and then to Harold Warp in 1949.
It was moved to the Pioneer Village in 1953, where it is seen today placed on public display.

- The locomotive usually burns wood but at some point, #2 was converted to a coal burner.
- This is one of two locomotives built for the Huntsville & Lake of Bays, were sold to the Huntsville & Lake of Bays Transportation Company in 1905.
