Hunslet Engine Company No. 1215 was one of the 150 examples of the Hunslet 4-6-0T Locomotives that were constructed by the Hunslet Engine Company for narrow gauge railways across the world.

Hunslet Engine Company No. 1215 was constructed in 1917 by the Hunslet Engine Company for a narrow gauge somewhere in Australia as one of the 150 examples of the Hunslet 4-6-0T Locomotives, it was exported and delivered to Australia and operated in revenue service until it was withdrawn from revenue service and it was eventually returned to the United Kingdom in 2004 and was restored back to operational condition by preservationists and it found its way to the Apedale Valley Light Railway where it currently operates there.
As of today, Hunslet Engine Company No. 1215 currently operates at the Apedale Valley Light Railway as War Department No. 303.
