The Hunslet 4-6-0T Locomotives were a series of 4-6-0T narrow-gauge steam locomotives that were constructed by the Hunslet Engine Company for narrow gauge railways across the World.
History[]
The first example of the Hunslet 4-6-0T Locomotives were built in 1917, and they kept rolling out of the Hunslet Engine Company until the last example of the Hunslet 4-6-0T Locomotives was constructed in that same year, with a total of 150 examples ever built. Many of these narrow-gauge steam locomotives were delivered to various narrow-gauge railways across the world.
The locomotives were withdrawn from active service on their respective railways across the globe. Most were scrapped, while some have been preserved.
One well known example WD No. 303 (Hunslet No. 1215) has been preserved and is currently in operation on the Apedale Valley Light Railway.
