Hesston No. 125 is an 0-4-0T steam locomotive built by the Ceskomoravska Kolben-Danek in 1940, CKD #1930 for the Adolf Meyer AG at Hoburg, Germany. The Locomotive never ran here,

In 1971, the locomotive was sold to the George Mohun Steam Museum and imported from Germany to the US.

Today the engine is operational at the Hesston Steam Museum in Hesston, Indiana.

Trivia[]

  • The locomotive was featured in "I Love Toy Trains" (during a "Real Trains" segment).
  • The locomotive was never delivered, making the Hesston Steam Museum the only place the locomotive has operated.
  • This locomotive has few known remaining sister engines, but a few distant ones include Frisco Silver Dollar Line 504 and 76. There was also one of the survivors being sold on Discover Live Steam.
