Great Northern Railway No. 3059 is a O-1 Class 2-8-2 "Mikado"-type steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in February 1913 for the Great Northern Railway. The O-1s, along with other O Class Mikados of the Great Northern, were used system-wide to pull freight trains.
It was retired from active service in December 1957 and in August 1958, it was donated for static display near the Williston Depot in Williston, North Dakota where it still currently resides. It is the only one of the Great Northern's O-1's to have been preserved.
