No. 2575 at the Minnesota Historical Society collection with The William Crooks, and an E7 no. 503 in 1945.

Great Northern No. 2575 was an S-2 class 4-8-4 "Northern" type steam locomotive built in 1930 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Great Northern Railway.

It was built for use on express passenger service between Williston, North Dakota and Havre, Montana, and the Spokane division for service between Spokane and Wenatchee, Washington.

It was retired from service by 1958, and it was put in strategic storage until 1963 when the engine was scrapped, however the tender still exists in Oregon Rail Heritage Center, Portland, Oregon.
